I absolutely LOVE exercising outside!

I enjoy the warm weather most. It’s not that I don’t like the cold, well, actually I don’t like it all too much (bad experience getting hypothermia in  Spartan Race) but I LOVE warmer weather.  I forget from time to time being in Iowa how much I miss the warmer weather.

God’s creation is meant to be enjoyed alone or with others.  I do love those long runs by myself, but sometimes it’s nice to share them with friends.  I can’t really laugh out loud by myself, although I do sometimes, but it really is better when someone else is laughing with or at me.

Do you prefer hot or cold, warm or breezy weather?

All I know, I decided a few years ago that Spring in Iowa is my 4th favorite Season. It’s wet, gray, cold, breezy, muddy, and very limited sunshine. The good thing is that it doesn’t last long.

Regardless of your favorite Season, I suggest getting outside as much as possible. We all know the fresh air is good for us, but sometimes we need a little push to get out there and just do something.

Points to Ponder & Actions to Add:
1.  Take advantage of exercising outside as much as possible.  The fresh cleansing air is amazing when you remember who created it.

2.  Spend time with others outside and laugh with them often. A me

3.  Change up your workout and stake out a water aerobics class this summer, an outdoor boot camp, a new road or obstacle course race or even yoga in the park.  They are available, you just got to dig a little to find them.
