Fall & Thanksgiving Essential Oil Aromas

fall-essential-oils-fafMany different oils offer tantalizing aromas around the holidays.  Grab your diffuser and enjoy these different concoctions with real medicinal and therapy components.

These are some of my favorites.   Please share if you have some more, I’d love to try them!

Fall Scent: 3 drops Bergamot,  2 drops each of Ginger, Frankincense
Birch.  Reminiscent of walking or hiking in the woods.  That time of year when the leave turn colors and anticipation of things to come is near.

Citrus Warmth: 4 drops Orange, 2 drops Ginger, 1 drop Patchouli.  This blend offers a warming earthy citrus, with a little less fruity smell.

First Frost: 5 drops Fir, 2 drops each Wintergreen & Cedarwood, 1 drop Rosemary.  This blend is fitting for those days where the seasons are changing, reminding us of the first frost.

Pumpkin Pie: 2 drops each Ginger, Cardamom, and Cinnamon (or Cassia), 1 drop each of Clove & Vanilla.  Just as it reads, it will make you want some pumpkin pie =)

Thanksgiving : 2 drops each of Clove, Cinnamon, Black Pepper.  This scent offers an outdoors, rustic aroma. Perfect for Fall and holiday gatherings like Thanksgiving.

Sweet Dessert: Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger and Orange.  These oils gives a sweeter pie scent.

Trick or Treat: 3 drops Sandalwood, 2 drops Vanilla, 1 drop each of Clove, Cinnamon.  This offers a sweet aroma, like candy =)

Grander Mountains: 3 drops Frankincense, 2 drops Pine, 1 drop Cedarwood.  This blend is tantalizing enough to make you want to get up and take a walk – in the mountains.
Autumn: Ginger, Roman chamomile and Lemongrass.  Offers a more soothing after dinner relaxing smell.

Autumn Sunset: 2 drops each Orange, Rosemary, Ginger, Eucalyptus, 1 drop each of Cinnamon & Clove.

No Diffuser? Aromatic Household Ideas are a simple step away with adding clove, cinnamon or peppermint essential oil to oils rings, pine cones, potpourri, wax melting pots or cloth napkins.
